Neeraja Muthal
Areas Of Support:
Hello,
My name is Neeraja Muthal
I provide therapy for children, adults and families in English, Hindi and Marathi.
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist 144185, Supervised by Moitreyee Chowdhury, LMFT 121934; LPCC 9238
I help individuals and couples move through hard emotional chapters in a space built on safety, compassion, and genuine care.
My work centers on children, adults and families facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, work-related stress, relationship conflict, parenting challenges, and major life transitions. In our sessions we will explore what makes your experience specific to you, draw on the strengths you already carry, and build coping strategies that hold up outside the room.
With ADHD in adults, the work is often less about the diagnosis and more about what has been built on top of it: years of being told to try harder, systems that never quite fit, and the exhaustion of compensating. We look at how your attention actually works and build around that.
As a South Asian immigrant myself, I know how culture, family expectation, and the immigrant experience shape mental health and relationships. I bring that understanding to my work with South Asian and immigrant clients navigating identity and cultural concerns, while offering an affirming space for people of every background.
I believe healing grows from a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, authenticity, humility, and compassion. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and equipped to build a more meaningful life.
Outside the therapy room, you will find me hiking, cooking, or spending time with family and friends.
