Hello,
My name is Teresa Gamez DePerez

I am a Trauma-informed Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #152063

Services in English and Spanish. California, USA

Are You Ready to Stop Surviving and Start Healing?

Do you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or painful emotions that seem difficult to manage?

Do you find yourself repeating the same relationship patterns, even when you want something different?

Are past experiences, family dynamics, or transgenerational patterns affecting the way you see yourself and your relationships today?

Have you experienced infidelity in a relationship, either as the person who had an affair or as the person who was betrayed?

Do you struggle with setting boundaries, trusting others, communicating your needs, or maintaining healthy relationships?

Have you experienced trauma or difficult life transitions that continue to affect your emotional well-being?

Have you experienced any significant loss such as the loss of a loved one, family member, pet, job, relationship, home, or sense of security?

Do you feel stuck in survival mode and wish you could understand yourself, heal emotionally, and create healthier relationships?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I am a trauma-informed mental health therapist specializing in providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and client-centered services to adults and couples. My clinical work focuses on helping individuals address trauma, transgenerational patterns, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, emotional difficulties, and life transitions.

My purpose is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen your relationships, and build emotional resilience.

As a Latina therapist, I understand the importance of culture, family systems, identity, values, and generational experiences in the healing process. I strive to provide care that honors your cultural background while recognizing that your story is uniquely yours.

I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, creating an environment where Spanish-speaking clients can express themselves in the language that feels most comfortable and meaningful.

You don’t have to remain stuck in the patterns that have caused you pain. Therapy can help you understand where those patterns come from, develop new ways of responding, and move toward emotional healing, healthier relationships, and a more empowered version of yourself.
